EGYPT RETREAT · MARCH 2027

Where You'll Be Staying

We have chosen each of our stays with care — characterful, locally run places that keep us close to the land and its people. Every stay includes breakfast. Here is where the journey will hold you each night.

Cairo & Giza

5 – 7 MARCH · 2 NIGHTS

Blue Scarab Pyramids Hotel

Our journey begins at the foot of the Sphinx — literally. Our guesthouse sits one minute's walk from the entrance to the Giza Plateau, with pyramid views from the rooftop. Wake on Day 1 with the pyramids outside your window.

Luxor (West Bank)

7 – 10 MARCH · 3 NIGHTS

Embrace Hotel

Our home on Luxor's quieter West Bank, among the villages and sugarcane fields near the Valley of the Kings. A garden, a pool for the warm afternoons, and famously warm-hearted staff. We cross the Nile each day to the temples — part of the rhythm of Luxor life.

YOUR ROOMTwin and double rooms with private bathrooms, breakfast included.

Please note: wifi is limited here — we treat this as part of the retreat's gentle unplugging.

The Black & White Deserts

13 – 15 MARCH · 2 NIGHTS UNDER THE STARS

Two of the most magical nights of the journey: comfortable supported camping in the open desert — tents, mattresses, warm bedding and hot meals all provided by our desert crew, beneath a sky of ten thousand stars.

Bahariya Oasis

15 – 16 MARCH · 1 NIGHT

Oasis Lodge

Property being finalised

A warm bed, a hot shower and a palm-garden evening between our desert nights and the road to Siwa.

Siwa Oasis

16 – 19 MARCH · 3 NIGHTS

Our sanctuary in the far western desert: garden rooms with patios, sofas and space to breathe — and the lodge's own pool suite at the heart of our stay. Siwa is the deepest stillness of the journey, and our home here matches it.
